Freixenet – 50 Years of Cordon Negro Cava

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of one of the most famous sparkling wines in Freixenet’s Catalonian portfolio — Cordon Negro Cava — we designed and delivered an exclusive event in the heart of Zagreb for media, influencers, and VIP partners of G3 Spirits, Freixenet’s distributor.

In the sophisticated setting of wine bar Pupitres, the event reflected Freixenet’s distinctive visual identity — an elegant blend of matte black and gold. Every detail, from decorations to lighting, was carefully coordinated to convey both the brand’s long tradition and its modern character.

Alongside event production, Aplauz was responsible for bringing together the most prominent Croatian lifestyle influencers, who amplifying the brand’s digital presence. At the same time, we led targeted PR activities that secured timely and high-quality media coverage, with strong emphasis on the anniversary and exclusivity of the occasion. Pre-event PR created a buzz that made everyone want to attend and be part of Freixenet Cordon Negro’s 50th birthday.

Through the selection of venue (Zagreb’s only bubbly bar), scenography (press wall, interior design), and brand ambassador (Dorica 505), we clearly positioned Freixenet’s values on the Croatian market and told a story of elegance, longevity, and strength.
